About us…

Our History

In July of 1976 a group of Marietta women, under the leadership of Sally Hille, organized the Bicentennial Women’s Club. In celebration of the event, they collected antique toys, games, dolls, and dollhouses which they displayed in the Campus Martius Museum. In 1989, the Children’s Toy and Doll Museum was formed and housed in two railroad cars in Harmer Village. In 1996 we purchased the present location, a lovely Eastlake/Queen Anne-style home.

We are a non-profit organization brought together by our passion and dedication to exhibit toys and dolls of all shapes and sizes!

Maintaining, restoring, and preserving the historic toys and dolls for the education of this community and the world at large
